35New linear units that are more precise, more durable and stronger than before make it easier to manufacture mechanical devices. In the planning phase, BGS linear units can be adapted to their future environment by downloading 3D models from Haydon Kerk's website. From the collection, you can choose a sufficiently robust structure for each need. The maximum movement speed and positioning accuracy of the unit can also be influenced by selecting the pitch of the screw.
The BGS movement unit is equipped with a linear stepper motor manufactured by Haydon Kerk, where the movement screw is securely mounted on the motor's rotor without a separate coupling part. There is also no need for separate support bearings, because the motor's own bearings are strong enough to support the axial forces.
A trapezoidal screw manufactured by Haydon Kerk by rolling is used as a movement screw. To maximize durability, the screw is coated with Teflon coating. The nut is a nut from Haydon Kerk. The ball conductor has been chosen to be flexible in all directions, a non-conductive and sensitively moving ball conductor. It can also be used to load loads whose center of gravity is outside the skate support points. The movement unit can be equipped with a separate controller. Motors are available in Single Stack and stronger Double Stack versions.
